Signing of Prospect implementation agreement with UECCC

Fruitful discussions and great news from Kampala! We’re excited to have signed an implementation agreement with the Uganda Energy Credit Capitalisation Company for the automation of the Results Based Financing Programme of the Electricity Access Scale-up project (EASP).

The implementation will see the EASP’s The World Bank-backed RBF program’s Monitoring and Evaluation component automated, monitored, and reported upon via our data platform Prospect – a collaboration between Access to Energy Institute and the European programme GET.invest, supported by the European Union, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Austria.

We look forward to assisting the advancement of Uganda’s ambitious electrification strategy, aiming to achieve sustainable energy access throughout the country, while fostering socioeconomic development and combating climate change.
