Zero Emission Utility launched at Ayrton Forum 2026

23 Jun 2026

Today, we launched the Zero Emission Utility at the Ayrton Forum 2026, as part of a session on the Humanitarian Utility Model for Energy (HUME).

HUME, developed jointly by the A2EI and the Global Platform for Action, is providing affordable and reliable solar energy as a utility service for humanitarian operations. Humanitarian agencies save approximately 40-50% on their energy bills. Carbon emissions are mitigated and money which was spent on burning fossil fuels can be redirected to humanitarian relief work!

Since a solar utility model is needed in any fuel generator context, we relabelled and launched the Zero Emission Utility at the Ayrton event today. ZERO replaces fuel generators with solar + battery systems on commercial, industrial, and humanitarian sites. We finance the asset. Local partners install and maintain it. Customers pay only for the clean kWh they consume and save energy cost while mitigating tons of CO2 emissions from day one.
